soundblock

Soundblock is an interactive sound art installation designed for Soundwalk 2011 in Long Beach, CA.  The sound art project seeks to encourage and interaction with pre-recorded sound samples and on site environmental sound through interaction with a collection of IR distance sensors.  The Soundblock is portable and designed for deployment on streets, storefronts and sidewalks in urban spaces.  Box design and production with Machine Histories.  Audio Preview:  soundblock2
